Event-Concert Sponsors

Just like all other non-profit organizations, the Western Piedmont Symphony is dependent upon sponsorship of its concerts, guest artists and outreach programs. There are many levels of support —

FIRST CHAIR SOCIETY

100_0621By joining the community of area friends and businesses who make up the First Chair Society, you assure the continuing artistic growth of the Western Piedmont Symphony. As a First Chair Society Member, your name and logo will be prominently displayed at every Masterworks Concert. Your logo (or name if an individual) also will be displayed on a special page in the season program book as a member of this very valuable group of supporters.   You will receive four season subscriptions and special seating opportunities for all Masterworks Concerts.
 Your commitment to become a member of the First Chair Society is $12,000, payable over a three-year period ($4,000/year).  During this time you will be recognized as a sponsor of a specific principal chair in the orchestra.

If that same course would place him in the group with the lowest lifetime and current use of alcohol, tobacco and illicit drugs, would you camp out to guarantee him a spot? You don’t have to. Just support the music programs in your school .”
Educational Programming sponsorships are becoming increasingly important. In the past public funding has supported the majority of the cost of in-school performances, but that funding is rapidly disappearing. WPS considers these performances (annually about 40 performances which reach over 25,000 school children in the Western Piedmont area) an essential part of its mission. Studies have proven the benefits of an arts education program to the development of critical thinking skills in students. Sponsorships may be local ($5,000 to sponsor school program in your county or area) or may be comprehensive ($20,000 for a full sponsorship).  Benefits to you include recognition in the annual Program Book and appropriate press coverage.

MASTERWORKS CONCERT SPONSORSHIPS

Opportunities exist at various levels for sponsorship of a specific concert or guest artist up to full sponsorship of the Masterworks Series. The entire Masterworks Series Sponsorship is available for $50,000, which includes all concert and guest artists. An individual concert only sponsorship is available for $6,000. Concert sponsorship enables WPS to cover the costs of producing one of the five season Masterworks concerts.
 Benefits of sponsorship include twenty (20) complimentary tickets to the sponsored concert, verbal recognition from the stage at the performance, recognition in all news releases, radio announcements, interviews, and in all marketing materials such as flyers, postcards and mailings, social media and publication of your support on the program page in the annual Program Book.

 

GUEST ARTIST(S) SPONSORSHIPS

Benefits of sponsorship of a Guest Artist include eight (8) complimentary tickets to the sponsored concert, verbal recognition from the stage at the performance, company logo worn underneath name tags of ushers, volunteers and board members during performance, recognition in all news releases, radio announcements, interviews, and in all marketing materials such as flyers, postcards, newsletters and mailings, and publication of your support on the program page for your concert in the annual Program Book. Guest Artist Sponsorships are available for $4,000 for a single guest artist.

 

CHAMBER CLASSICS SERIES

FRIENDSHorizontalLogo copyA Chamber Classics Series Concert Sponsorship is available for $20,000, which enables WPS to produce four (4) Chamber Classics concerts.
Individual concert sponsorship is $5,000.   Benefits of sponsoring the complete Chamber Classics Series include twenty (20) complimentary tickets to each of the sponsored concerts.
Sponsors of individual concerts will receive twenty (20) complimentary tickets for specific sponsored performance. All sponsors will receive verbal recognition from the stage at the performance, recognition in all news releases, radio announcements, interviews, and in all marketing materials such as flyers, postcards and mailings, website, Facebook and publication of your support on the program page for your concert in the Chamber Classics Program.

 

YOUTH SYMPHONY  SPONSORSHIP

YSO 1415The Youth Symphony was established in 1971 for young musicians interested in playing in an orchestra with the full complement of winds, brass, strings and percussion. Two concerts are performed each year. The WPYS serves as a valuable component of a strong musical education program which includes school music programs and individual instruction. Sponsorships are available as follows.
 $5,000 Full Sponsorship for one year
$2,500 Concert Sponsorship

 

 POPS & OUTDOOR CONCERT SPONSORSHIPS

 

John orchestra suts septThe City of Hickory and numerous businesses and organizations have joined forces to present “Symphony Under the Sails.”  These extremely popular concerts are presented “under the sails” in downtown Hickory.  These outdoor concerts not only appeal to families, they are also very popular with the downtown businesses.  Approximately 2500 flooded the downtown area for the Summer Pops concert. Numbers grow every year.
Sponsorship of this event is needed to cover not only the musicians, but any production costs associated with the event: outdoor necessities of tents, audio systems, etc.  We strive to introduce children and families to the joys of music, playing an instrument and music education.
 Sponsorships are available for as little as $500 up to $6,000.
 Benefits of sponsorship include verbal recognition from the stage at the performance, recognition in all news releases, radio announcements, interviews, and in all marketing materials such as flyers, postcards and mailings, and social media.
