Sponsorship opportunities exist throughout the Symphony season. There are two (2) types of sponsorships:

Music Sponsorships
Music sponsorships give several important avenues to help the WPS build on our musical tradition:

First Chair Society – a community of very valuable supporters of WPS. Sponsors names and logos are prominently displayed at every Masterworks concert and their name and/or logo appears on a special page of the Program Book. Each member of the First Chair Society also receives four (4) season subscriptions and special seating at all Masterworks concerts.

Educational Programming – the WPS performs approximately 40 in-school performances annually that reach over 25,000 school children in our area. Sponsorship includes recognition in our annual Program Book and additional press coverage.

Masterworks Series – opportunities exist at various levels for sponsorship of a specific concert or guest artist up to full sponsorship of the Masterworks series. Benefits include twenty (20) complimentary tickets to the sponsored concert, four (4) tickets to the pre-concert dinner, verbal recognition from the concert stage at the performance, and sponsor name and/or logo included in all marketing materials for the performance.

Guest Artist Sponsorship – Benefits of sponsoring a guest artist include eight (8) complimentary tickets to the sponsored concert, verbal recognition from the concert stage at the performance, and sponsor name and/or logo included in all marketing materials for the performance.

Chamber Classics Series – Benefits of sponsoring the complete Chamber Classics Series include twenty (20) complimentary tickets to each of the sponsored performances and four (4) tickets to concert specific pre-concert dinner. All sponsors receive verbal recognition from the concert stage at the performance and sponsor name and/or logo included in all marketing materials for the performance.

Youth Symphony – The WPS boasts one of the largest Youth Symphonies in North Carolina with approximately 90 young musicians. Full sponsorships are available for the entire three (3) concert schedule or for individual concerts.

Event Sponsorships

Event sponsorships give several important opportunities to help the WPS with events throughout the season:

Festival of Trees Celebration and Gala – our largest fundraising event and one of the most enjoyable evenings of the Christmas season. Different levels of sponsorship are available and each includes its own recognition during the event.

Program Book – advertise in our annual Program Book and get your message to hundreds of audience members for each of the five Masterworks concerts.

Annual Fund – donors to our Annual Fund receive a listing in the Program Book and the Symphonic Notes newsletter. Donors are also invited to attend after-concert receptions.
